Building survey questions

So we had a survey on our Victorian terrace. FTB...but we had done our research and we were expecting a few problems! Key issues appear to be patches of rising damp (two lines in the report about this so guessing mentioning as precautionary rather than major issue?), neighbour raising efficiency issues about shared off mains drainage so drainage survey recommended, and strenthening of the roof purlins recommended by adding downward posts or cross brackets. Going to call the surveyor to discuss but none of this sounds like a deal breaker at the moment. My concern, which I can't seem to find a answer to online, is that our solicitors are also acting for our lenders. We are not super concerned about the issues raised, but if we share the report will they not also share with the lender who may reduce our mortgage offer? Can we refuse to share the report (and should we?).

Did you mistype the bit about the shared drainage? I don't understand it. Not sure why you'd need a drains report (I had one once and wondered what the heck i was paying for). Your searches should map out the drains unless they have been altered in some way.
No I doubt they'd reduce their mortgage offer - one thing if the roof was in really bad shape but these things are minor.
I don't know about the 'sharing the report' bit - if you are not obliged to then don't.

Hi there, thanks for your response! The shared drains is as we share a septic tank with the neighbour. That neighbour has commented ahout efficiency issues- not sure what they are.

You don't have to share your survey with your solicitor (as long as it's a separate one from the mortgage valuation). Nothing sounds like a deal breaker from what you've said.

All sounds normal for a victorian terrace to me
