We have an oven, job and extractor and a dishwasher. Almost 2 years old and zero problems! Would recommend.

Job = hob Hmm

I've got an IKEA kitchen with their fridge-freezer, oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. They're mostly absolutely fine. The only two issues I have are that the timer on the oven doesn't work for anything less than 40 minutes (it's a twisty knob one) and the lock on the induction hob takes a few goes to unlock (locks straight away though Hmm).

Electric hob good but a fairly quiet timer (not a big deal). Hood really noisy.

We have a fridge (fine), extractor (fine) and had a dishwasher. The dishwasher was a disaster - we had it repaired and replaced several times under warranty before asking for a refund and buying a Siemens. When we bought our kitchen, the units only worked with IKEA dishwashers but now they work with any built in dishwasher.

The service/warranty department we dealt with was very good though, and the rest of the kitchen is fab and bulletproof.

Mine was the old Ikea style kitchen of Faktum, but using Ikea's appliance dimensions we installed a Whirlpool single oven and a combi microwave. At the time this was the brand Ikea was supplying but we wanted a touch screen oven, no knobs sticking out so just chose a different Whirlpool oven.

Both died after 6 years of pretty much daily use, replacement parts become unavailable. The oven was very similar to this Ikea one and was £450 at the time. We replaced them both with Hotpoint appliances. My original Ikea kitchen is now 8 years old and still looks brand new.

Lots of ovens come with cabinet dimensions here is a Whirlpool oven and the last photo shows you the size.

So you aren't limited to just Ikea appliances for Ikea cabinets I believe.

They are not a strong selling point if you ever come to sell up. Cheap and cheerful really.

10yo Ikea kitchen here with their dishwasher, fridge/freezer and extractor (built-in). No problems with any of them, save a fiddly light on the fan which we haven't been able to replace. The dishwasher was on 2-3 times per week pre-pandemic, now used daily. Touch wood still going strong!

We're about to replace the whole kitchen and will be upgrading the Ikea appliances but no complaints as to performance.

Muststopeating · 23/03/2021 13:36

If you are getting an ikea kitchen then you want to consider an ikea dishwasher as others won't fit properly (ikea heights aren't standard). However, they now do two Bosch dishwashers (re labelled). For me Bosch are the gold standard of dishwashers so I am sold (and I do not cope well without a decent dishwasher, so much so that I'm putting two in my new kitchen). The two most expensive ones. Advantage of ikea is the 5 year warranty.

I am buying an IKEA kitchen and putting on bespoke doors and am on the fence about Ikea hob, ovens and fridge freezer.

Hmm. Miele are gold standard dishwashers. Quieter.

Ah yes this is probably true... but they really are 'gold' standard and I've never brought myself to spend Miele money!

My latest Bosch is very very quiet though.

Hi does anyone have the kulinarisk or finsmakare Oven and Combi oven in these we are thinking of getting oven and Combi but unsure which

leavingtime · 23/02/2022 19:12

I have an IKEA induction hob which I've used daily for nearly 10 years. It's been great, no problems with the function at all.

But when the sun shines on it sometimes [and when I look for it]...I can see small scratches on the surface of the glass. At other times of course I don't notice a thing. However I don't know if other [and more expensive] hobs are the same. I'm a very careful person so don't really understand why scratches would happen really.

Apart from that, for the price, it's been brilliant.

I have a Finsmakare Microwave Combi and the fancy full oven with a steam cooking facility.

They've both been very good. One thing is that the combi oven is so well sealed that if you generate a lot of steam in there while microwaving you do need to leave the door open for a bit afterwards, otherwise you might get rusting. I started doing this when I spotted a tiny bit, no problems since.

The Finsmakare stuff is made by the Electrolux group for IKEA

Cianreb1 · 24/02/2022 13:39

Myventoux thanks for reply . would you recommend it and is it easy to use. do you have and other IKEA appliances that are good .

MtVentoux · 24/02/2022 14:43

I would recommend them, yes. Most of the functions can be accessed very easily via a menu controlled by a rotary knob and press button, and the manuals are very easy to follow.

The most difficult thing to see is the on/off button, it's a marking on a plain glass surface which is a bit dark at times!

When I refurbed the kitchen I got all the appliances from IKEA - the ovens, an Otrolig induction hob, Hygienisk dishwasher, Underverk extractor and Koldgrader Fridge Freezer. I've been very happy with all of them.

I’ve fitted a few Ikea kitchens and gone with a few of their appliances along the way. Usually fridges & freezers. Very reliable but freezers tend not to have auto defrost which is a pain. Found a great gas hob in bargain basement once, couldn’t have chosen it at full price but pleased I found it, it looks so stylish. In our most recent kitchen we felt a bit compelled to put in an ikea dishwasher due to the newer door/plinth size. First one I’ve ever had and we again got lucky with a bargain when the top model was on sale. It is very good-sturdy & quiet, I really like it. I’ve never bothered with their ovens though-prefer Neff.
