Which house in Cheshire?

We are torn between 2 houses-a nineties Tudorbethan house and a thirties one with extensions. The thirties is in affluent village but close to busy road. Nineties nice village, more peaceful. We love the style of the thirties house, has been done up and extended with quality fittings and our taste. However, a very odd master bedroom only 8 foot by 15 (extension). Small hall. The nineties one has a huge hall with twisty staircase and although lots of dark wood, is bigger with a really nice feel. It’s also 40k cheaper. Very private garden. We were thinking of we knocked through kitchen/diner, replaced the kitchen and bathrooms, we’d end up with a possibly nicer house. Never lived in either of these styles, so ideas please?

tbh I think location should probably be the deciding factor, can you name which villages they are (I live in cheshire)

I also think price is dictated almost exclusively in Cheshire by location. If location isn't important then go with whichever house you prefer.

Also in Cheshire, the location and which road would decide things for me.

Sounds like you prefer the 90's place so I'd go with that especially as the other one is close to a busy road x

Both locations are nice-the thirties house has a slightly more upmarket village feel but we love the other one. I suppose I was always a bit snobby about Tudorbethan but now weve seen it, we really like it. And far more space-think we do prefer it, Tal45!

The 90s house sounds lovely AND it's cheaper. Surely it's a no brainer?

Yes, Single, I think it is!
