Hi,

I know there's a few of these been done over the years, but as there's new products on the market all the time just thought I'd ask again..

Does anyone have a recommendation for a boiling water tap (must get to 100 degrees..makes good tea etc) that is cheaper than a Quooker?

Thanks

When I looked I couldn't find one cheaper than a Quooker which heats to 100 degrees. Our last Quooker was about £600 (including fitting) I think. I consider it money well spent although I appreciate others wouldn't.

Thanks @Waspie

My Quooker is great - no experience with any other brand. Tried and tested beats budget option in my opinion.

Qettle is cheaper and 100 degrees

thanks. I don't mind paying if it is indeed the best above all other options, just don't want to be paying for a brand name over actual performance.

We have a franke but it was over £1000

Damn pressed post too early.

It's a 4 way tap normal hot and cold and filter cold and 100 deg boiling

Quooker (as far as I know) is the only tap to store the water in the tank above 100, so that it comes out at 100.

Had my Quooker for about 12 years - still very happy with it.

@AuntyFungal what kind of maintenance have you had to do over that time, if you don't mind me asking?
