It's falling down? Structurally unsound? A death trap? Or total gutting and remodernisation but sound.

Unmortgageable

It’s only 1,120 q’s ft too! The floor plan says it has a scullery, probably not been touched in years. Very cheeky price considering other properties in the area.

They say they can offer an internal video tour, so they must have been able to gain access for that. Possibly the floorboards are rotted / insecure and it’s too risky to take people in, though.

Don't touch it with a bargepole unless you do renovations professionally. You will need to gut it and start again.

@MrsCremuel I don’t think it looks too bad, I think if you assume it needs a rewire, new heating, kitchen, bathroom, plastering redecoration, new flooring, window refurb. I imagine you could do it for £100/£150k would that stack up in this location?

MrsCremuel · 17/03/2021 21:37

@Itscoldouthere it might have if it was a detached. It went on with Wards listed as a detached but then went up with another agent as a semi which makes a big difference. Semi with an extension round there would go for 550, a detached more like 600-650. I don't ont think it's worth it now I know it is a semi and the harden is small. Such a shame, I was quite excited!
