Homebuyers survey - how long?

We're selling our house as have to relocate for DH work (,it was that it redundancy). We've got to exchange previously, but our buyer's buyer pulled out on the day of exchange.

We've accepted a new offer, and have the survey tomorrow. The company have given us a window of time when it'll be, but does anyone have any idea how long it'll take - vaguely obviously. I've got a toddler to take out and occupy and am a bit anxious as I had a miscarriage not so long ago so am not entirely convinced about hours doing laps of the park.

Should have said it's a 1930s 3 bed mid terrace.

We had a survey done on our house last week and the surveyor was here about an hour and a half. 20 minutes of that we had a general chat - When he got here I said I'd go and work in the car but he wasn't bothered with me being at home. You might feel like you don't want to be there though.
Anyway I'd say hour and a half to two hours max.

I'd also say a couple hours, but you can be there. Just move out of the room the surveyor wants to look at.

I'd say it's a lot less than that - 40min for a 3-bed terrace max. If this was a full strucuiral - then could be well over an hour.

Depends which kind they went for .
Basic is like 20 mins , full structural about an hour or so.
