Installing a ring doorbell on rented property

Hi all.
Just wondering where I stand in terms of installing a ring doorbell on my rented house. The agency said its fine as long as it doesn't involve drilling to the brickwork or door frame.. Which of course I now realise it does.. My lovely next door neighbour is a chippy and said its very easy to fill up the holes afterwards and they'd help me restore it back to original condition..
My domestic violence support agency bought me the doorbell to install for security purposes as DD and I fled from my violent ex who doesn't know where we live. The agency don't know too much about my personal life other than I needed to leave where I was living before very quickly.
What's the chances of the landlord agreeing to it being installed? Do landlords generally not like installation of security doorbells?
I've spoken to my surrounding neighbours who are all OK with the installation of the doorbell also.
Is there anything further I can mention to them so they know it won't be left in a damaged state?
Thanks

Is it a plastic or wooden doorframe I really wouldn’t drill into plastic without permission.

So I asked the agency. They said it needs to be factored into the tenancy agreement and its a £50.00 administration charge to add it as an addendum.. Is that normal?? Seems excessive!

They are quite big, we have one but we didn't bother to remove our old doorbell, we just left it up and put the Ring one underneath so we have two doorbells as I'm not sure that the Ring one is probably as reliable as our vey old one with its Bakelite chime, also you have to charge the battery up on them quite frequently unless you wire them up, it wasn't compatible with our old chime. We are happy with it though and bought a wifi chime to plug in so you can hear the ring better

The £50 sounds like one of those robbing admin charges that companies manage to get away with nowadays
