Can My Washing Machine Go Here?

Hi, I've bought a new apartment and am trying to figure out where to put the washing machine. Ideally it would go under the stairs beside the boiler but I'm not sure the correct piping is available.

Here are some pictures of what's at the back of the boiler. Can someone let me know if this is adequate or if I'm missing something. My knowledge about plumbing is pretty well non-existent. Thanks.

You have inlets

Where would it drain?

Have you got drainage?

That's all the pipework there is in that area, so it seems like there is no drain. Looks like I'll have to find somewhere else for it then!

Update: I've had a builder around today and he has said that the pipe circled in the first picture is a drainage pipe. It takes the overflow from the boiler (second photo). He says a plumber can add a connection to that drainage pipe to allow it to take both the washing machine drainage and the boiler overflow. It sounds good to me but I wonder if anyone on here can see a problem with that?

It's very small bore going by your photos. I'd be concerned it would't cope with the amount of water a washing machine pumps out.

Have a look at your manual, it generally gives a minimum pipe size.

An alternative would be to see where that pipe discharges and see if it was feasible to route a new drain pipe to there.

I agree that it looks too small to take washing machine water. I'd get a plumber (rather than just a builder) to advise you.
