Cost of wet under floor heating

Can anyone who's done a recent project give me any idea of this? Im trying to work out a potential cost for our renovation project. I think we'd end up having the pre-built boards with the pipes in as we have a mixture of timber and pre-existing concrete in the area we are reconfiguring. I can't find an average cost anywhere!

Eek. That's way more than I thought! We're probably looking at the same sort of area as you. Was that part of a bigger build project and the 100m2 included materials and labour?

We've just had a very reasonable quote from Wundatherm for their wet UFH retrofit system as most of our space will be suspended timber floors. They quoted just under £1.4k inc vat for a 36m² area, we plan to lay the boards/pipe ourselves and have plumber to install and connect the manifold to our heating system, we had a quote of around £7.5k plus vat from a builder but don't think that was for a retrofit system.

@RebelGeek76 that's quite a big difference! Worth doing some of the labouring! An architect said to us it's important to insulate under suspended floor boards so you don't lose the heat downwards. Is that included in the cost of yours?

@whensmynexthol1day I assumed we wouldn't need any extra insulation with the boards included in the system as they are very insulative and energy efficient but will look into it more. We've not started work yet but I was wanting to work out whether we could build ufh into our costs if reasonable.
