What would you get for your conveyancer? Chocolates and wine or a gift voucher ?

Eh nothing, I’d pay their bill on time.

I'd pay them quickly and leave good reviews on trust pilot / Google, that would be more value to them in the long run.

Speaking as a conveyancer, a thank you card and an email to the head of department providing positive feedback is the best gift (and if applicable mention the secretary/receptionist as well, as they work just as hard for less pay and less recognition)

Many firms have policies on staff accepting gifts as lawyers have to be seen to be cleaner than clean, so there can't be any suggestion of bribery etc

Thanks I'll do this.

We got ours a hamper of food plus sent an email to his Head of Department and left a positive review. We’ve also just instructed him again and have recommended him to many people through our work.

Most firms only allow gifts under a certain value and the recipient has to fill in an anti-bribery form.
It’s a nice idea. Conveyancers rarely get presents.
