How would paint this house?

NC'd as this is my house so quite outing!!!

House is being renovated which will include the exterior. We are getting replacement timber windows in exactly the same style and everything will be painted. House is Edwardian and most houses on the street are similar but not identical.

I don't want white woodwork. It looks grubby quickly and I prefer the look of coloured woodwork. If the house were brick, I'd go for a greeny/grey window frame or even really dark like Downpipe or something, but we are stuck with repainting the house so not sure what combo to go.

Most houses in street are either brick (not an option to us) or cream with white window frames - a few variants but nothing too exciting.

I don't want to look ridiculous but deffo want some colour. Even if it's dark grey/light grey (not sure which way round).

Suggestions gratefully received.

@nodogz Not a fan of racing green, but loving the sound of plum door. I have never understood the love for Black doors.

@itsbiganditsorange. Fair point and thanks for the honestly. You are right that most houses have stuck with white, but not all. And I far prefer the few that haven't and I just really really don't want white.

@VinylDetective. If i had brick - especially a gold brick - I'd absolutely consider DIX woodwork. It's my favourite F&B colour and I have it in two rooms already!

F&B strong white with French Gray woodwork would look lovely

There is a house near me that has F&B Charleston Grey woodwork and it is absolutely lovely. It also goes very well with pink for the front door, either something light like Peignoir or even stronger like Cinder Rose or Sulking Room pink. For the walls you could go with Strong White or Skimming Stone which are all the same kind of warm neutrals. I am totally envious!

Strong White and French Grey deffo an option @Fleurty
