New build: internal door from house into garage

Buying a new build and something I need to decide quickly is whether to have an internal door from the hallway into the garage.
I think it would be handy (though not exactly sure why!), but I could also live without it. So I'm on the fence at the moment.
Any advice?

My parent’s door opens into the utility from the garage. The house was built about eight years ago.

@Barnabyted Thank you, handy to know on this newish house

If the door opened into the garage you would be unlikely to be able to get into the garage with the car in there (for a single garage anyway). So most of them open into the hall.

If you fit your own, or they are fitted in positions where the car is unlikely to be (say right at the back) I guess there is a possibility they may open into.

Probably just best to ask the builder/homeowner.

I'd go for the door, if you have it you are more likely to use the garage space. From having had both over the years, without the door the garage will just become a dumping ground for mowers, bikes, random junk and spiders.
