Replacement windows - frame colour

We're building a new porch soon and need to decide on the colour of the window frames. We have noticed a lot of people putting in grey window frames - they look really nice and smart but do you think they are a fad? If we put in grey frames in the porch we would need to replace at least rest of the front windows (currently white uPVC).

Looks prison like to me go white and if you do fancy a colour stick to a composite door that is all you need. Mine is green with white windows and looks great.

There are some houses near me that have pale grey, pale green, pale taupe and other neutral pale shades, and I think they all look great. Dark grey can look OK with the right house, but seems easy to get wrong. I think I might go for a pale eau-de-nil shade when we change our windows next year, but might play it safe with white if we lose our nerve.
