What sort of sink in a utility room for hand washing laundry?

I do a fair bit of laundry by hand and I'm so sick of water sloshing over the sides and constantly having to wipe down the worktops! I'm in the very early stages of planning a utility room and I'm planning to fit a sink in there where I'll probably do most of my laundry hand washing. I was wondering if there is such a thing as a sink that's designed to help reduce the slosh and constant mopping up? What have you found works for you? TIA!

A Belfast sink would probably work. They’re very deep.

I've got a double Belfast sink in my kitchen which is just about perfect for everything, so I'd recommend that.

I have a good old fashioned deep stainless steel one with drainer. It stands up to all sorts of things that need cleaning.

Wouldn't a washing machine with a hand wash cycle be better? Gentler on clothes too.

An undermounted sink.

We got a freestanding utilatub, looks like this one. I don't think we got it from Amazon though. Also useful for cleaning wellies, painting supplies, BBQ rack etc...
