How do I get rid of this hot tub??!

Moved into house with a working hot tub in garden (a wooden one, not an inflatable one.) We don't want it due to running costs, very young kids etc. Proving nightmare to try and get rid of! One company offered free collection but then said no as door to garage (which would be access point to property) is smaller than hot tub size. How on earth did they get it in??!! And how do I get rid of it now! Perfectly nice, working, well maintained etc just want it gone!

Offer it for free on FB but specifying it will need to be craned out at their cost.

If no takers, you will need a Reciprocating saw to chop it up (not a chainsaw).

Would removing fence panels be a solution?

Ask the neighbours if they know how the thing was installed.

Perhaps you could contact a local hot tub dealership to ask whether they would like it. There is a market for these second-hand.

Whereabouts are you located?

Hi all, update here. Few companies contacted but didn't want it as too old. And know loads of people love them and say to keep but not for me!
In the end posted on local fb page.local builder wanted it for his bad back as his had just broken so has drained done electrics etc and has paid for crane and all removal and is helping turn the space into a play area as a thankyou. So happy with the outcome! Thanks for suggestion!

Well done OP, would have been such a waste to break it up!

Isn't it satisfying when a poster comes back with an update? Thank you @Jet888Smile

I'd keep it. When the kids are a bit older you will have a heated paddling pool that will keep them busy for hours!

Its a great way to entertain them on a rainy day.

When we get ours out in summer the kids fill it with toys and only get out for meals and bed!

And isn't it a bore when someone doesn't bother to read the thread Hmm
