Paint Suggestions

Hello!

We’re moving into a Victorian Terrace house soon and want to repaint as it looks a little cold and dreary.

I’m looking for ideas for the hallways and living room.

The living room and entrance hall are east facing with the entrance hall only having one tiny window above the doorway so very dark.

The living room is pretty substantial but as it’s easy facing, won’t have a lot of light. The ceilings aren’t very high.

I like the idea of Pink Ground on the walls with Railings or Stifkey blue skirting and woodwork. We also have a lovely red Kilim rug which we hope to put in the living room so unsure if that will throw off the colours completely.

Please let me know if you think that colour combination works or any other suggestions?

For style, we don’t like the grey look.

Thank you in advance!

There are some good photos on the F&B website and on their Insta page.
Also look at Little Greene, I prefer their paint and its a bit more unusual. LG Intelligent emulsion can be used on woodwork and walls so works out a bit easier and cheaper than buying various finsihes (I paint my skirtings in with the walls).

@trickyex thank you, will do. Hopefully Little Greene is also wipeable.
I feel like I live on the F&B website but potentially have looked at too many colours..its lost all meaning.

The intelligent emulsion is great, very hard wearing.
You can send a message to the advisers on the LG site and they will offer advice.
There is also a colour consultancy which might be worth doing, will probably save you the cost of loads of samples.
