Kitchen a major downside?

Considering viewing this property with a view to submitting a possible offer. Its in the right area, close to parents & friends, near to a nature reserve & has the all essential parking which is an essential tick box! The area is sought after & this is currently the cheapest 2 bed there.
However...I've just spent 8k on a new damp course & kitchen in my current property (units to 3 walls of kitchen diner) & I just do not know if I could live with this kitchen layout. Is there any way it could be improved on that I'm missing?
Opinions appreciated Smile

Kitchen a major downside?

I don't actually think its that bad. I have seen similar in my Italian friends' flats and they cook a lot though admittedly they have a table parallel.

I presume there is a large fridge freezer in the big cupboard? We had that and swapped to an under counter to claw back more worktop - why doesn't the run go all the way across as well?

I think part of the issue is that my previous kitchen in my current property was very lacking in usable worktop space. The kitchen I've just had fitted has a lot of worktop space which is a vast improvement. Also got a good amount of units. I'm not a natural born minimalist bu any stretch of the imagination & I suspect I would struggle with the lack of storage etc.
