Chipped white quartz worktop

We are just in the final stages of completing a long running and expensive kitchen extension. Worktop has been installed for about 8 weeks. This morning when trying to manipulate a big pot I took a small chip out of the white quartz worktop around the sink. Please tell me that this can be repaired - and how?
My DH is now furious that I wasn’t careful enough and has gone off in a foul mood on Christmas Eve.
I’m cross with myself too to be fair but don’t want it to spoil the day. Thanks.

I'm still confused by how you've caused the chip...?

I noticed a small chip in my worktop, thankfully not in a very visible spot. I could only assume my tilers dropped a tile on it but without evidence it wasn't something I could raise. I did reach out to my worktop guy who said they could do something to make it only 50% less visible than it actually was, but he said nothing could technically "fill it in" so that it no longer looked like a chip. In the end I decided against it, because I'd grown bored of having people in and out of my flat during lockdown, and like I said, it was only visible if you were trying hard to see it.

I was more concerned that this occurred so soon after it was installed, however, I haven't had mishaps since.

This happened to me. The guys who fitted the worktop came round and filled the chip with a resin. It wasn't an exact colour match but was smooth to the touch. You would never notice it now.

Someone more knowledgable will be along but I'm sure you can get a composite filler type thing to repair this.

I think you can get quartz worktop repair stuff on Amazon. You didn't do it on purpose.

Hi, my husband did the same thing to our new Quartz worktop so I can understand your husband's pain! If you still have the chip, you can reattach it. My husband glued the chip back on and filled the gap with resin from Amazon and some sanding. You do have to be gentle with it but you can only tell now if you look very closely. Looks flawless to anyone who doesn't know.

Wow I'm so surprised it was that easy to damage! Sorry for you :(
