Yes, Howdens definitely will. Their pricing isn't transparent in the slightest (which I hate), and they'll ridiculously over-charge if they're the first kitchen supplier you get a quote from.
I liked their newest shaker range which was also their more pricier option because of thickness of the wood (Chilcomb) and they wouldn't budge from £11k for units alone. This was despite me going via a tradesman who had done a lot of business with them. In the end I decided £11k was too much and that I'd compromise with my second choice which was cheaper (Chelford) for which they quoted £8k.
Meanwhile, after somebody suggested I speak to DIY Kitchens since their doors were comparable, if not better, their quote for a more superior product came in at £4k for units.
When I went back to Howdens, they basically price matched, but because they have to price match against the quality and not an inferior product (which Chelford was), they then offered me my first choice kitchen for the same price. So were basically happy to drop their initial ridiculous £11k quote by £7k for my custom.
In the end I decided I didn't like their business practices, preferred the transparency I got with DIY, and actually preferred their kitchen (Norton). Haven't looked back.
