Can you get predominantly white paint with a mere hint of another colour, iyswim. I'm looking for a white paint with the merest touch of pink in it but not a pink paint. Does it exist?

'almond white' is normally a bit pink

go and poke round the pai nt aisle in B&Q, or try the Dulux Virtual Decorator

Ba nd Q do a soft whites range and Dulux do Whites and Hints ranges (Blossom White perhaps?)

Thanks. I've got the colour catalogue for Dulux, Crown, Laura Ashley, Farrel and Ball and Homebase but can't see what I'm looking for.

I'll have another look at Almond White and Blossom White.

you could try mixing a pale pink/peach/orange(dont know what warmth your looking for) tester pot into a large tub of white?..add more to your liking???

jalopy · 22/10/2007 10:30

Thanks.

It's actually got to cover a large area thro' the house so don't want to experiment with adding things. Might not get the right shade for each tin of paint . My house might look like a colour chart as a result!

just buy 10ltr tub of paint?
you 'could' still get that prob with seperate tins as they may not have been mixed at same time?
