Buying a property without boundaries

Hello, what do you make of this. There is a property that has only one shared boundary. All other properties have ownership of the one to the north and west but this one which sits between two others only has shared responsibility for its north and no other boundary ownership. Both properties on either side of it has effectively 2.5 boundaries and it has 0.5 if you see what I mean. Is that good thing? Would that put you off buying this property?

These properties are semi-detached in case that is relevant.

Less fencing to pay for. And good the responsibility is clear.

The shared one is in dispute as it says nothing in the title deeds. The other ones are very clear what ones they are 100% responsible for but the one I am assuming is shared is in no ones title deeds. If there is nothing in either title deeds it is assumed shared isn’t it?

The wall I am assuming is shared is a retaining wall but information suggests that it wouldn’t be shared. It suggests I would’ve responsible.

Retaining walls can be expensive to repair, so you (or your solicitor!) needs to find out who is responsible for it, and if it is shared your sols may well want some comfort over the neighbour aggreing that it is shared.
