Seen a house that looks promising in the area I want largish plot previously sold 319k they have done a basic finish new kitchen new en suite which is good spec and new family bathroom. Front door etc they are asking 360k I'm thinking this is a bit steep as they wouldn't have spent 41000 as the kitchen isn't amazing specification.
Just wondering what you all think?

New kitchen, new bathroom and new en suite, new front door and whatever the “etc” is could be in the region of 30k or more. With house price increases and their time. It does seem reasonable.

The markets stagnating now here lots of reductions property staying on market for longer mini boom is definitely over.
I don't think we will go for that as you can buy a 4 bed detached for 400k in the area so we are waiting.

op you are going the wrong way about it.
if they got a bargain last time, why they shouldn't sell it at the right price this time.
improvement, stamp duty, cost sounds about right.
bought recently from vendor they purchased 66k 20 years ago to over half million.
check how much the property is worth, desirable and affordability and proceed.
