Damp in house...anyone experienced with thermal imaging to find source?

We have a Victorian terrace in London which has a problem with damp.

It’s got to the point where it’s impacting plug sockets in the house, and we have had to deactivate a couple because the damp has got into them and blown our electricity. We lose boiler pressure and have to top up once every 2 - 3 months, so it doesn’t feel like a disastrous leak.

There is a water based under floor heating system throughout the ground floor, and we have been told that there’s probably a leak there. We have had a leak preventing injection put in a couple of times, but it hasn’t fixed the problem.

We have also had a damp specialist (not someone trying to sell a DPC, just a damp surveyor!) give us lots of practical solutions which we have done to prevent damp coming in from the outside, but it’s still a problem.

Our neighbours tell us they don’t have any issues with damp, so it must be something specific to our house.

A plumber has inspected our boiler and all the pipes around it, and said there’s no issue. He also said that if the leak was bad we would see the impact on our wooden floors, but they look fine.

Finally, the damp is just as bad in the summer (When the underfloor heating isn’t on at all) as in the winter (When it is on). So not even sure it makes sense that it’s the underfloor hearing causing it!

We are desperate to get rid of the damp. Has anyone got experience of getting a company in with thermal imaging cameras to find the source? Is it worth it? Any companies you can particularly recommend?
