Which colour windows (pictures)?

Ok not strictly ‘beauty’ but certainly style...

We live in a detached stone cottage in the country and currently have Farrow and Ball blue-ish green painted windows frames and front door.

We are getting the draughty old windows replaced and have a choice of two colours, green or greyish green.. Not sure if the green one is a bit bright. Thoughts?

Our house is More similar to the second photo.

Prefer the 1st one it's nice and subtle, number two is too contrasting against the wall

We have the green because the grey was more expensive oak/aluminum windows. But my god they are amazing. BIL can park the tractor in front of the door and I never hear him. The room darkens though as it's definitely a light blocker.

Oh and our is 14C and they seem to go well.

I prefer green, it looks much more beautiful

I much prefer the muted one, Chartwelll green is on every other composite door I see! it’s very ubiquitous, but then I’m not a fan of composite doors so that could be swaying my opinion, on a wooden door it might look better.

Wallywobbles, could you give me details of yr windows? I really want something more soundproofed!

I live both the colours. The green is much “definite” but nicer. So with someone else’s money. I’d choose that one!
