Very pale pink paint for the kitchen - any recommendations?

I've got F&B School House White in the hallway and would like the kitchen to be painted a subtle pink which doesn't contrast massively with School House White.

Any suggestions?

Pink Ground & Setting Plaster both come up quite dark in my North-facing kitchen x

Does it have to be F&B? B&Q blossom white is pretty subtle

MintChocAddict · 26/09/2020 22:17

Or maybe it was Dulux? Confused Sorry OP, confusing myself now! Blush

Elephants breath might surprise you... its really much more pink than grey

formerbabe · 26/09/2020 22:30

I was going to say blossom white too...I think it's a Dulux one...I painted my dds room in it

Defo doesn't have to be F&B! I've got Dulux in some places around the house too and I love it :)

Blossom White looks lovely.

Not a fan of Elephants breath - I think it's a bit dark x

Dulux Nutmeg White has a very faint pink hue to it. Used to have it in my bedroom in my last flat, loved it.

themummyway · 26/09/2020 23:51

Has anyone tried Dulux's Apricot White or Almond White?

Just had a look and both loook lovely too

I second Nutmeg White, I have it in my kitchen and it is very subtle.

I adore Nutmeg White!
It's one of the Dulux colours I have around the house

Mylands threadneedle. Paint and paper library plaster 1 or 2. Looking for similar myself!

We used F&B Great White and it’s perfect, we contrasted it with Calamine in our bedroom.

Dulux Mellow Mocha has a pinky tone to it. I had it in our old kitchen and it was lovely alongside the ivory units.

Dulux blush noisette - 5 is a soft blush, 6 is paler. Both lovely

StatisticallyChallenged · 27/09/2020 09:34

Sorry, that should say 4 is a soft blush - 5 and 6 are both paler versions. We have 4 in our hall and it's lovely

Little Greene's China Clay (lightest one)

I am also painting my kitchen lightest pink. Watching with interest!

I think Nutmeg white has a touch of brown in it, but Blossom white is definitely pale pink. But seems to be discontinued now. There is one called Blush pink.

They all look different depending how the light falls on them.

The paint manufacturers get together and change the colours they market every couple of years. I remember Rose White was previously their pale pink.

Look at Kyoto pink.

Hoppinggreen · 27/09/2020 10:35

I have apricot white in the lounge but it’s more orange than pink

BeijingBikini · 27/09/2020 18:48

Middleton Pink by F&B is quite nice
