Help with planning renovation

Hi I'm wondering if anyone could recommend any websites/forums where I can get help with planning and project managing the renovations on my soon to be house?

The sale is going through at the moment but I've lived here as a tenant for 14 years.

I've had a building survey done and there's a lot of work needs doing but I don't know where to start in terms of what order I should do things.

For example, the roof is going to be one of the first things that needs replacing so do I get the cavity wall toes done and pointing at the same time to make efficient use of the scaffolding?

If anyone can direct me to where I can get some help I'd really appreciate it. If anyone thinks they can help me in here then I'll happily list the work that needs doing!

Thanks Smile

I’m not sure a website will hugely help as your project will be very specific to your house. Why not invite a few builders over for quotes so you can talk to someone in person? Draw up a list of works based on the survey - a largish building company should be able to do most/all of it. And even if you can’t afford everything in one go it should give you some idea as to order. I’ve always found talking to someone who is actually doing the work the most helpful and hopefully some friends can give you recommendations of trustworthy builders

Thanks Annalou30, makes sense. I will ask around and start researching building companies.
