how long to get listing online?

I've gone with a local agent who were very keen to get me to list with them - bending over backwards in fact! And have now gone very quiet. How long does it usually take between hiring/photos and the listing going online? There is nothing complicated about the property that requires clever marketing really.... it's a standard one-bed. I am in a busy area of London. Thanks

Our photos were taken on a Thursday and the house was on Rightmove at 9.15am on Friday. Our EA was very keen to have the house online by the weekend. We had signed the contract the week before but needed some time to finish the paint touch ups and other cleaning jobs that needed to be completed first.

I've now seen the edited photos, which do look great to be fair, but still no closer... I've done a gentle nag but I'm probably going to have to get cross to get it on by the weekend aren't I.
It is a very busy area of London and my property is probably peanuts for what they are used to. It's just really stressing me out!

Around here (outer London), a lot of properties go live around Wednesday. I think it’s because agents are busy with viewings at weekends, dealing with offers on Mon/Tue. Then they post new properties on Wednesday to book viewings for the weekend etc.

I don't know why you're not insisting it be live by the end of the day?

I don't know how to! They said it should be ready today but I've had nothing. I will insist tomorrow but how can I make them do it?! Argh I hate this already and nothing has even happened yet! Boo hoo

"I'm really concerned with how long it's taking to get the advert live, I'm keen to get the ball rolling and I'm ready for viewings. If it's not online by the end of the day tomorrow I'll have to consider another agent."

Ours went very late Friday night and I wonder if that's often a time they get put on to catch people viewing at the weekend. Though estate agent said because of lockdown viewings are much more spread across the week than normal.

Mine is still not communicating but at least he's doing viewings. Though we only really need update once a week now unless an offer.
