What's wrong with my house

Please help.

Our house went on the market about three weeks ago, 8 viewings compared to everyone else in the same bracket having lots. Similar price to others locally even though we have an extension that we use as a dining room. I know the second bedroom is small, but nothing we can do about that. Can we do anything else?

Thank you!

My god those photos are soooo much better! Good Luck with the sale.

LillianBland · 24/08/2020 20:22

It’s like a different house, OP. That’s great and I hope you get the sake you’re after.

PickAChew · 24/08/2020 20:29

The new pictures are so much better. Looks far more homely.

Love that you got an actual stunt pineapple 🍍👌

Oh wow the new pictures are much better!! Good luck with your viewings, hope it sells quickly for you Smile

StatisticallyChallenged · 24/08/2020 22:44

Much better OP - the dining room looks about twice the size!

TokyoSushi · 24/08/2020 22:52

Much better! Good luck! 🍀

Bloody hell this is an absolute demonstration to any estate agents on the power of decent photography. Those new photos are a million miles better, you extension looks amazing compared to the old pics, I’m sure you’ll get a lot more interest based on those alone. Good luck selling!

Sorry but but pictures make it look unloved and a bit 'beige'

You can't see how the house flows in the pictures. Make your EA earn their money :)

Lots of potential to make this appealing with a little love x

Amazing job OP. Fingers crossed for you

MrsPworkingmummy · 25/08/2020 13:15

Well done OP, that looks loads better

wowfudge · 25/08/2020 13:47

It still states "guide price" but does look a lot better.

Everyone needs a stunt pineapple! :)

Add your measurements to your floor plan showing the size of each room and where measured to and give it the overall square footage. I think your house isn’t small but it’s impossible to truly tell with furniture until you view and if I was concerned I might decide it’s tiny and not do the maths - I make it about 92 sq m or just under a 1000ft.

So much better. The first photos were shockingly bad and, sorry to sound rude, made your house look cramped and very odd, and it was giving me a cheap HMO vibe. Whereas if you tried hard, you could see it was actually nice. Buyers wont try hard. I think you'll have loads more interest now.
