We're having a new kitchen fitted in a couple of weeks and I've decided on a 1.5 bowl ceramic sink but looking at our options to order one now. There's a nice sleek looking one with a smooth draining area on an incline (like this one:

Or there's the regular ones with sort of a ridged draining area. We had one of these in our old house but it didn't 'drain' very well.
Admittedly one of the dullest threads for a Saturday night but does anyone have any opinions on which is best? My sister mentioned the first one (smooth with an incline) might form a vacuum around glasses when theyre drying?
Any input much appreciated!
