Off-white/cream tiles for bathroom

We're just making final decisions on our bathroom renovation - dark grey vanity unit and WC unit, black shower frame, taps and radiator. The floor will be dark/warm wood effect tiles.

We considered a lot of different colours for the tiles (metro if it matters, though I know lots of people hate them I love the look), but we'll probably stick with a white shade. Problem is, I don't want pure white glaze because I worry about it not matching the sanitaryware so I'd rather the mismatch looks deliberate. I'd like a warm off-white or cream to prevent it looking cold, but not TOO white or TOO cream. Currently looking at Metro Tile in Bone from Topps Tiles. Has anyone else used this tile or can recommend something similar?

Thanks!

I can remember agonising about the shade of my metro tiles in my loft extension bathroom. The sanitary ware was white. The tiles were off white as I thought dead white would look a bit morgue like. But when they arrived and DH whatsapped me the picture I actually left work to look at them and contact the company, I was so alarmed because en masse they looked a lot more cream. Now I don’t give them a moments thought. They were from Tons of Tiles. The white were Whitechapel and cant remember the off white ones- sorry that probably doesn’t help! But with time it all seems to meld together well.

Is your vanity modern or classic? Cream looks more classic and white looks more modern.

We have a creamy white tile from Tile Source called Caress (they do look quite grey in the website but we saw them in the flesh) they have a texture but also a shine, whitish but not really when against sanitary ware.

I am not sure that is a very helpful description!!

It's a modern vanity. I was definitely leaning more towards off white than cream.

@whataboutbob thanks!

What about a pale ice blue?

Nah blue doesn't work, would look really cold! The current bathroom is blue.
