Advice welcome I haven't a clue. Need to remove boring cheap square tiles from bathroom walls. What tools do I need?

We normally just use a scraper & hammer and once you've got a few off it's a lot easier to get behind then.. this could be completely wrong but it's worked for us so far Grin

Yup, hammer and chisel or scraper.

Thank you

Do you just get the edge of the chisel or scraper at the edge of the tile and then tap it with a hammer?

Should just easily come away once you've got the first few off. If you're doing the tiles over the bath put a sheet down in the bath to stop the tiles scratching and wear shoes (tiles on toes-not fun).

Chisel and a hammer, its a very satisfying job once you get going!

I'd also add, safety specs because you can get bits of ceramic flying off

A spade will also do it.

some plaster may come off.

If you're feeling particularly aggressive, we had 3 layers of tiles/wallpaper on top of brick and used an sds drill with chisel attachment. If it's plasterboard behind though you'll probably need to replace it no matter how you remove the tiles unless you're lucky 😀
