How hard/easy is it to rebuild a garden wall?

We knocked down an old outbuilding and,as a result, a section of our garden wall fell down- approx 6ft.
Should we tackle it ourselves (absolutely no diy skills) or pay ££££ to get someone in?

I'd have a go myself if it's not too high and the rest of the wall looks stable. Have a look on Youtube, plenty of tutorials available.
If you have safety concerns then get get a bricky in. Obviously I've not seen it but it sounds as though it's only a couple of days work so shouldn't be too expensive.

Practice first just using sand and water mix...it's harder than it looks..my dad taught me bricklaying and have done my own... YouTube videos are a good idea !

As an ex-bricklayer, I can tell you, it's a skill.
It takes approx 3 months to learn how to lay bricks, slowly, with a level of competency.
Like plastering, some things are best left to professionals.
It's more likely to be ££ rather than ££££.

Walls are more complex than you think. It might not have been built properly in the first place. Is it load bearing? 6ft long but how tall? How are you going to anchor it at each end? What about foundations? Yes, walks need them! That stops them falling over! Consider width needed too and how you need to lay the bricks. I’d get a bricklayer in!
