Two more to come. I need help with soft furnishings please and being very bored today I've made mood boards....

The bed, carpet and wall colour all stay. The chair can be recovered.

I like the country house look, this is the guest bedroom.

Or one of these.... more monochrome but i haven't quite worked out which fabric would go on bed/curtains/cushions yet.

Im really sorry i dont really like any. I think its because your existing lovely wooden furniture is warm tone and you are trying to have too much cool tones with it which is jarring. If you love blue maybe navy and coral would warm it up a bit?

Without wishing to offend you, it may be hard to pull the look together because the bed and chair look like they're from completely different periods. The chair looks Victorian, and the bed is - what - 1930s? 1950s? 1970s? You need something more like this: www.1stdibs.com/furniture/seating/dining-room-chairs/kindel-furniture-regency-cane-back-armchairs-pair/id-f_19628482/?&currency=gbp&gclid=Cj0KCQjwjer4BRCZARIsABK4QeXvpUCZtZC43GZN-2su1ps28kgE7uxFWO65kl2PoBB6KBPBslBii0UaAviaEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

Thanks. The bed is arts and crafts late Victorian.
Not sure how old chair is, but it was mil's so I have to keep it!

Of course you want to keep it - it's beautiful! They're both lovely pieces of furniture - I only meant the chair is kinda fancy and dark wood, and the bed is quite plain and 'antique pine' colour.

My favourite is the third one, it's softer and warmer than the other monochrome.type options which I like, and also more modern looking the the first two.

The first two boards are very much traditional/pretty, in think they'd be easier to pull off in a period house in a countryside area than in a new build on an estate.

Thanks @Canyousewcushions

It is a traditional Victorian villa, so the period look is good here

I actually like the first one, although I think HomelyK is onto something with bolder shades.

I absolutely love your boards OP (you have very similar taste to me).

I like one and five the best. An eclectic mix of antiques is fine, very English. I have several Arts & Crafts pieces but also some Victorian and mid century.

Thanks, I think I like the first one best too.
