Would this be weird or very useful? Its the only place we can put a downstairs toilet. Have yo done it? Thoughts?

In a conservatory is odd. In an extension can work depending on the layout. Don't have a door direct into the kitchen, dining, living or family room though!

In an extension fine as long as the layout works- off a hallway is best and not off a kitchen/dining area. In a conservatory, definitely not, how the hell would that even work with all the glazing?

It more of an extension/orangery. Not as much glass as a conservatory and at least 1.5 walls will just be brick/plaster work.

We’re thinking of this but the door to the loo will be off the hall with a stud wall so the extension will be shorter.

I wouldn’t find that very appealing. When doing en extension, It works best to put the loo and utility room in the middle of the house. That way the extension is a lovely big space.

Totally agree, toilets directly off kitchen and living areas are grim. Same for en suites.
