Is this a bad tiling job?

Not sure if there are any tilers on MN, but I'm having my bathroom tiled at the moment and I think they are doing a bad job, but it's not finished, so maybe I'm wrong and it will look ok at the end after the grouting etc. Just wanted some opinions, as now would be the time to do something about it. Pics included.

You have your answer already OP, but I just want to add how awful the whole job looks. However did they intend to cover the socket? I would also be looking closely at any other work they may have done.

I can't believe they haven't even used spacers. Even a novice could have a quick google and know they needed them. It also looks like they haven't used a tile cutter for the hole for the socket and have just chipped away with a hammer and chisel. I doubt a socket will cover it.

That is truly appalling, they would be out of the door and not getting paid immediately and getting a terrible review.
I've had awful shoddy tradesmen in before but they really take the cake.
