Please help - all in one architect, surveyor, builders etc or separate?

We are interested in getting a rear single storey extension. We had Blue lime architects round who seem to be a one stop shop for all the construction drawings, designs, planning, surveying team etc and have a team of builders etc. This would cost around £3000.
Anyone with experience think this is more expensive than doing it separately? We are novices so any advice appreciated. The reviews seem very good for the company.

I don’t know the company but we have spent around £10k so far on architect, planning , surveyors , structural engineers so sounds pretty good deal to me!

I think it’s quite a bit. I paid about £1500 for structural survey, plans. It does depend where you are in the country. You can check the planning and building control fees on your council website. Planning fees and building control might be £1000 of that £3000 then it looks like a good deal.

Sounds OK to me but check if that includes structural calcs or not as it doesn't look like it to me. Also check if you'll need any form of SuDS as a part of the approval
