Quartz worktop over standard appliances-how to support it

Does anyone have any ideas how to support a quartz worktop over standard/non integrated appliances. Is it even doable? Woukd support legs be strong enough?

We basically have a washing machine and tumble dryer that we want to put the work top over. There is no space at the sides for cupboards to support it and can't seem to find any open appliance housing units

It will be for our utility room so not a big deal to change it to a lighter laminate worktop. Thanks

Yes it's doable, either with support legs or, controversial but you might not have room at the sides for full cupboards but we have some thinner elements such as one bottle width wine racks, or a thin pull out herb cupboard for example. Good time to think outside the box about what might be useful!

My recent dishwasher instructions said to raise the feet so the top of the dishwasher supports the worktop above it. Then fit a supplied skirting piece of rubber to the bottom front of the dishwasher to cover the bottom gap.

But then where do you keep your tray?

An end support panel in-between and at either side (18mm) should do the job if you have enough space for that?

If its a 30mm quartz top then it won;t be a problem

What about a supporting batten on the wall behind?
