I dont know how to post pictures on here but would love some advice on these kitchen designs I have drawn up... I would love an island but not sure if its too tight. We would have 60cm for the unit run, 90cm space, 90cm island (is this a good size?) and 90cm space between island and wall... ? Thoughts please

I'm talking about extractor fan because, when you will cook the steam and moisture will rise and will condense onto cupboards above potentially ruining those in long run.

the new plan looks much better.

I prefer the peninsular option in the other pictures you posted within the link. It makes better use of the space imo, and actually makes your kitchen appear larger. The island makes it look like a small space imo

I was asking what was beyond the end of the island as I thought you could have the island going across the kitchen with the units behind you. But your new plan is much nicer.

We’ve got a very similar peninsula option in ours and we love it. We got a curved one so we can sit round 2 sides. We also contrasted oak on the peninsula worktop with quartz elsewhere. Make sure you have an overhang on your breakfast bar so you can use it fully!

Here’s a photo just before the quartz went in and we did the floors. 3 years later we still love it.
