My sister is a first time buyer and at the moment lives & works London.
She's a bit overwhelmed with trying to find somewhere that's to £300k.
She wants somewhere in North or North West or West London (so she can easily get to elderly parents) but she currently works in Aldgate East.
She's looking for 1 or 2 bed but not a studio flat. Up to Zone 4, but need to get to work in Aldgate East she need to be near a station so she has a fairly easy commute.
Anyone fancy helping me try and find her some possible flats?
Somewhere to park, happy with on-street paid council permit.

Isleworth? Easy connections to the west/north west, and £300k would get you 2 beds and parking. This flat needs a bit of cheering up, but it's a nice development:

Aldgate East is about 1hr 15, so not exactly a quick commute, but there's always a trade off

How about Harrow? I know it's zone 5 rather than 4 but you can get fast trains in peak times to Aldgate. Takes about 40 mins.

There's lots of 1 beds for under £300k and a couple of 2 beds too

Lowlands Road, Harrow

Murray Court, Gayton Road, Harrow, HA1

I doubt she would do Harrow. She wants to live in London proper if possible.

At the moment she is looking at shared ownership in Camden/Brent boroughs, but it is so competitive!

That's an oxymoron these days. But things are relative, for some people £2m is affordable.
