Property viewing during coronavirus

Hi everyone, I have just put my house on the market in Blackpool. www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-92097233.html

I have a viewing tomorrow (fingers crossed). I am doing a video viewing. Has anyone any experience if this?

You have no floor plan. I hate houses with no floor plan as I can't imagine the flow of the house.

You need to get a floor plan done asap as that will put viewers off. Unless I absolutely love the house I won't bother viewing with no floor plan, especially at the moment with corona around.

Also the black wall in the bedroom. That needs to be changed!

And that us not what OPmasked.

Yes, we did a viewing on Sunday. We had all internal doors open and all lights switched on. We then simply stayed downstairs when they went up, and went into different rooms on the ground floor. Close enough to answer queries, and keep an eye on them, but much more than 2m apart.
We disinfected door handles etc before they arrived, but they actually made a point of keeping their hands in their pockets.

It was no problem, except there was no small talk, it was all very brief.

I haven't done a video viewing, but the video tour we had was good (not live, sent to us). I'd say to start off outside so they get the feel as they go through the door and end in the garden.

  • That is not what OP asked !!!

Oh Lord, how thick am I????

Totally overlooked that the viewing was a video viewing 😶😶😶 We had a real one

We've just viewed a property via video (although the EA is doing it as 2 stages - video first then real viewing if you're still interested). I felt that the video viewing gave a really good sense of the space. It moved fairly slowly around the room so we could see everything, which was good. One thing they didn't do, which I would have liked, was opening up storage areas so I could see them, showing various built-in appliances and walking through the garden (which is such an important part of a home!).
