Traditional shaker kitchen, what would be your dream oven and hob combo be? Range? Induction? Eye level? Large range for supersize roast and single eye level? Induction on island? What combo would you go for? Space no issue!!

I went for a classic deluxe 100cm Rangemaster with induction hob. Love it!

Ideally, a pyrolitic double oven at eye height with a warming drawer beneath, and a minimum 5 zone induction hob. This is what we had in last house when we did the kitchen. It was perfect. The oven tower had a cupboard at the top that we kept baking things in, and a drawer at the bottom for roasting tins.

Current house had a 2 oven Aga which we've just removed as it was crippling us financially (it was at least 30 years old - I'm sure new ones are better, and at least you can turn them on and off), and have replaced with an induction hob/pyrolitic oven range. I'm delighted to have a cooking system I can turn on and off and adjust the temperature again.

But everyone has different preferences - I'm not keen on having to bend down to take things out of a hot oven, and if we ever have the opportunity to change the current kitchen, I'll go back to tower ovens again,

I have a 90cm flexizone induction hob on my island. This means I can socialise with guests while cooking. My Island is huge though - 3m x 1.5m. I have 4 ovens behind the hob against the wall. 2 60cm pyrolytic, 1 45cm compact pyrolytic and a combi microwave. It works really well.

@MotherForkinShirtBalls yes it's a Belling! It's brill and looks sooo good. Wished I'd got one in our old house but we knew it wasn't our long term home when we redid the kitchen so didn't want to splash out too much. We got it in black too....totally in love.

I'm really happy with mine.

Built in electric double oven and grill, waist height. I've had ovens like this for at least 20 years and can't ever imagine having to bend down to use the oven again! Separate 5 ring gas burner with the wok ring on the side rather than in the middle, which means you can have other things cooking at the same time if you are using the wok.

Dammit, DrinkingInTheNightGarden, after this thread I'd talked myself out of the Cookcentre and into two side by side ovens with an induction hob and now you're confusing me! I want my cooking space on the island which is the only con I can see for the Cookcentre. I have done extensive research 7 years and waiting and it ticks all my boxes.
