Smashed shed window- replacement?

My son was playing football in the garden and accidentally kicked it through the window of shed, that is window 2 of 4 that is now needing to be replaced.
Where do I get new glass from and would I be able to fit it myself? (I'm pretty good at diy)
Also do you think I would be able to get it now or have to wait til lockdown is over?
Personally I would deem it essential as rain could get in and we store stuff in there but I'm happy to wait if someone sensible says it's not really essential.
I looked at plastic windows but the website I found wanted an extra 30 quid as a small order fee 🙄

If you go to a proper old style glass / window shop you can get toughened or laminated glass. I suppose they might do plastic, don’t ask don’t get.
Laminated as in used for car windscreens so it won’t shatter and might be child safe. They ain’t cheap, but they ain’t easy to bust.

I think glass is usually held in by batons and window putty or mastic, best suggestion would be to have a good look and gentle dig with a chisel or screw driver and see how it’s attached then decide from there. I would expect different shed makes to differ in how they secure glass and how they water proof it.

We replaced some porch windows with laminated glass and the glass shop fitted it etc.

Have google for local glass shops - not double glazing suppliers - we have got a few bits of glass over the years to specific sizes (bespoke bathroom window ledge 50mm wide ) for a few quid.

As it is a shed you could just staple an old sheet over it to keep the worst of the weather out until the current crises passes.

Most glass suppliers have shot down so for the minute just bang a bit of plywood or anything over the hole

*Oops, I meant shut down, obviously!
