Hi, I’m looking for a smooth painted shaker kitchen. I really like TH but it’s not in our budget. Can anyone recommend shaker kitchen? Thanks

That's my exact worry. I like what I'm seeing on Davey and Alger website but I am ever so worried about getting a fitter separately etc.
Has any got/in the process of having D&A units fitted been able to shed some light/advice?

What is it exactly that makes D&A units superior to for example, DIY kitchens - is the the wood? The finish?

I'm still undecided who to go for!

You can see from my reply earlier that DIY kitchens don’t compare themselves to companies such as D&A - their completion is mass market places Magnet and B&Q whereas those who are looking at D&A would aspire to have one like these www.devolkitchens.co.uk/kitchens/shaker-kitchen can at a fraction of the price. In both of these the doors are made of Tulipwood.

Have a look at Dorset kitchens.
We loved a TH kitchen but was ££££££££s
They copied it and it's beautiful , highly recommend
We are in London but they have done lots of kitchens around here.
Good luck such an overwhelming thing to do.
