Victorian Hall tiles

Hello
Like many of us i am looking around our flat, and mentally spending money we don't have on potential renovations..

Our flat is in a victorian conversion and we have awesome high ceilings. However there is cream carpet down currently in the hallway. I'd love to get victorian style tiles put down but im not sure how much this would cost. The hallway is about 1 metre wide by 3m long.

Has anyone had this done? How much did it cost? We are in London so expect this will add ££s to the cost. TIA

Removal of old stuff and grippers, bit of a clean up...Assuming floor is sound then tile adhesive and tiles and grout. If it's only 1x3m then even pricey tiles won;t cost a huge amount. You might want to remove any skirting while tiling, some people don;t as it's more faff and potential wall damage when removing them.

If you are first floor or higher then your neighbours will thank you for not having a tiled floor. Also check your lease as hard floors might be a breach of the lease terms.
