Creepy rightmove house (CV relief)

Is it me or is this house creepy?

Looks OK, then my blood ran a bit cold when I got to the barrel vaulted bedroom in pic 13.

The buildings next door to it were once a women's laundry and someone told me those had to be exorcised a few years ago.

This house keeps popping up on the searches for me. It's a shame as it ticks all the boxes regarding space required and we could buy it cash but I can't even look at the cellar pic in case I spot something

I love it! It's a bit dim inside with the small windows but looks like it would be nice an cool in summer.

haha thats so funny that is also popping up in my search!! it would mean i wouldnt have to move far....but there is just something about the house that i dont like..it has a feel to it that doesnt sit right with me

vingt no if I won the lottery I would be tempted. I have too much clutter you wouldn’t notice in there. I would fill the old stables and outhouses with horses. One of those bedrooms would probably as much floor space as the whole downstairs footage of our house. I do love my little cottage though and I am gradually working on de cluttering.

Not creepy but dated and unloved, sure it could be lovely in the right hands.

I think the first link is a gorgeous house, could be beautiful when it's restored, so much potential. I could sell my pokey semi in south London and buy that with change … tempting.

I think it's really nice and tastefully furnished.
If you look at London pages there are some real frights...full of junk, no attempt to tidy, rooms not finished, violent colours....and the prices for those!!
