1920s house with lovely pine panelled doors apart from the hall. There’s 3 glazed 80s doors that don’t go very well.

I’d like t9 replace with 1920s doors with a glazed panel. Anyone done this?

@paddlemyowncanoe your doors do look beautiful. I suppose the trick is to buy slightly bigger ang get planed to fit. Unfortunately I'm not on.mainland UK so reclamation is trickier and postage costs can be huge.

We had 9 doors dipped from our 1927 house. 6 came out OK, but 3 came back warped and the joints came apart 😫 In the end we purchased all new reproduction doors 😍.
It was a shame about the old doors but the new ones look great.

I'm torn about new. The dipped ones in the house look great but they are v obviously old. The 3 ones o need to replace all lead on to the hall so.might not jar if new. They put a new v cheap.one upstairs which looks awful.
