Amtico issue

New build house where subfloor has a join visible down the middle where floor laid in 2 parts. Paid company to supply and lay amtico, 6 month later join line has appeared through tile they came back, screed had cracked so filled with a resin, but join mark has come back again.
They are now saying subfloor must be moving which builders dispute as no other signs of movement. Builder say that flooring company were aware of joint and any issuse should have been addressed before laying there are also some other lines appearing and also some bumps.
The bathroom, also Amtico was laid on chipboard, they said they didn't need to use plywood because of screed that they used but now a line visible there.
Any advise from anyone, where should we go next when both are now blaming each other.

Speak to Amtico HQ and see what they say? They might be willing to come and inspect?

Amtico have very specific rules about sub-floor preparation. We had issues with ours in that the flooring company used too wet a primer which caused the sub-floor plywood to de-laminate and the Amtico to lift. I think that you should try and get a report from either Amtico or an independent expert and then seek legal advice. Do you have legal cover under your household policy? There is a fantastic professional flooring contractors website - I’ll see if I can find it and post a link. It was very helpful to me.

Name of the site is the flooring forum. You will have to join to post a message but there are a lot of flooring experts there and a whole section on LVT which is what Amtico is.

Thanks, Amtico have said it is not a fault with the tile itself which is what their warranty covers, it must be a fault with what is below. But it is trying to prove who is to blame I think we will have to get an independent flooring accessor i think it is about £500 I will have a look
at flooring forum.

I have got 3 amtico floors - kitchen and 2 bathrooms and had them in a previous property. In kitchen and bathrooms they should be at least laid on marine plywood and not straight onto floor boards or 'cement'. They are very tough and never really wear out - though can scratch. Their ''white'' is generally not true white and can look ''dirty'' with white painted skirting.

Thanks put on flooring forum, so hope to get advice.
Flooring company are saying Screed they use F Ball 1200 is flexible so don't need to use ply in bathroom?
And should cover straight over join?
