Waterproof laminate flooring in bathroom. Do-able?

Bathroom needs new flooring after a water leak. It's down to the slightly wonky floorboards.

Don't want vinyl or tiles. How do I go about getting the flooring straight, waterproof and flat? Tia

I know you said no vinyl but what about vinyl plank? Clicks together like laminate, is super easy to cut and lay.

We laid it in the children's bathroom so we didn't have to worry about water on the floor. Ours is Quick Step, it has a matt finish and some grip to it. It has been down for 3 years, still looks new.

@TreeClimbingCat Thanks. That's useful, I'll have a look into that.

Waterproof laminate is ideal if you have slightly wonky floorboards - we have a bargain Quickstep one from b&q . You do have to use special rubber sealing strips and clear silicone around the cut edges (under the skirtings) as that's where water could run off and soak into cut edges especially. We love it and its been great so far.
