Dampness in loft space - advice needed

Hi,
I found some dampness and mould growth in our loft space (see photo). I've also attached a photo of the roof above - it's a gable end. When we moved in last year we followed the advice in the survey and had someone round to replace a few missing and cracked tiles, as well as install some ventilation tiles, and some other outdoor jobs. They were number 1 roofers on CheckATrade but they were very slapdash and I wasn't very happy with their work for various reasons.

Do you think the whole area of tiles will need to be replaced or should a good roofer be able to isolate where the dampness is coming in? I don't want to get ripped off (again) by cowboys so want a bit of impartial advice before I call anyone.

Do you drape wet washing inside your house?

Does the bathroom have an effective extractor fan?

Do the ceilings have holes in them, e.g. for downlighters?

Is the loft hatch a good fit?

Please also post photos into the eaves, showing how far the lift insulation goes.

Oops, sorry, wrong sort of damp.

I don't recognise that style of sarking board. Are you in Scotland?

Try to find a good local roofer by personal recommendation rather than a paid advertising site.

The repairs are shoddy and incomplete.

Was this problem there before you got the roof fixed or did you notice it afterwards?

On the outside photo, where is the problem? I can see at least 1 properly broken tile centre right.

Why were you not happy with the roofers that you had in?
