Vinyl flooring

I have concluded I need vinyl flooring in my kitchen. It's can cope with being wet and I need that. Buy I'm confused over my options.

Cheapest seems to be stuff on a roll. But how does that fit? Do you just get a giant sheet? My kitchen is L shaped and about 5m by 4m on the L so that would be a big sheet!

I've seen vinyl tiles. I've seen vinyl flooring boards that seem to fit like laminate boards.

Then there is Karndean or similar which is very expensive. But probably the longest lasting and hardest wearing.

Does anyone know anything about these or have any experience of getting them fitted?

Have I missed an option?

Vinyl sheet is the cheapest and easiest to fit (fits similar to a carpet) but it isn’t very durable and can rip if something is dragged across it. It usually comes in 4 or 2 metre width and so the 4m might just about do it but if not it’s not a good idea to have a join.
Vinyl tiles and planks are more durable but thicker and less flexible so harder to fit, you need a very good DIYer or professional. Karndean is a brand of vinyl tiles and planks , as is Amtico but both are at the higher end of the market so cheaper ones are available
If anyone says Lino, they probably mean vinyl.

I have amtico having previously had sheet vinyl.

It costs more but looks better and I really like it.

It is often admired (it’s a lovely dark grey with subtle silver texturing details)

Karndean all the way! I have it in my bathroom, kitchen and hall. It's fantastic.
